How organic are these apples? They've hardly got a sideways glance from this gardener, to say nothing of fertilisers or pesticides. Blessed with the lovely Irish rain and sunshine of the summer of 2020, they're otherwise completely neglected - and quite delicious!
We used to pick them in August and September and use them for cooking, but this year we were too busy. It turns out, if you leave them until October, they're fully ripe and very sweet.
I've no idea what variety they are. They came with the house 😊
